PC Call of Duty gamers recently felt hard-done by when Activision Blizzard launched the Call of Duty Elite service recently, since consoles owners were invited to join, but not them. Now, they can feel a bit worse about it, since the growth figures for the service suggests that snubbing PC gamers has done the company no harm at all. Still why throw away revenue?
The graphs below show that Elite membership has grown by over 40% since November, while Premium Elite membership by over 33% in the same period, which is a geat result for Activision Blizzard, awkward company name not withstanding. These figures mean that total membership volume has now reached 10 million gamers, with 2 million of those on a paid subscription, putting a lot of money into the company's piggybank.

You cant exactly do housework if youve got a nasty rabid wild 5y.o biting at your ankles every time you try to move or leave the room.
Id really be interested in breaking down these charts to show age groups. but then the idea is kinda flawed as a 10y.o will use his dads credit or debit card to pay for the premium so that comes up as an adult.
not that Im against kids playing computer games, but i just cant stand the level of immaturity they bring with them to the game. TBT not all kids are that immature. but the amount of videos ive seen on youtube where some kid is mouthing off, screaming, whining, crying and using offensive language and general vocabulary thats unbefitting of their age group, which im sure their daddy would probably kick their ass into next week If he heard him using that kind of language. and im not even gonna talk about the level of 'skill' these kids bring to the game either. Most of the kids ive played against camp a lot and that to me is a failure to grasp and understand what the game is about. that not all true though as ive watched my little cousin play and hes pretty damn good - always moving or sprinting across the map, never in one spot too long.
thats mainly why I mainly game at night - not just because my internets better due to the lack of traffic but most kids are normally tucked away in bed by then, so I can sit down and have a game vs adults who know how to play the game and arent just a waste of a player slot.
Id say there needs to be some sort of filter that puts you into a game with players of the same age range. but then that all means shit when Activision has made the game so readily and widely available to kids.
